WHAT IS THE ORIGIN OF MATARIKI

the origin of matariki is about 7 gods like seven stars, some of the gods forced apart their parents and made light but some gods did not like it so a god that disagreed tried to fight the god of war and failed. He was devastated so he pulled out his eyes and chucked them to the sky as love to his father and defiance to the other gods.
